Shelter Facility

Horse Plus Humane Society operates on over 50 acres in Middle Tennessee near a beautiful town called Hohenwald.  Our facility consist of 16 stalls, multiple holding pens, a veterinarian barn which has a specially padded custom made squeeze chute for safely handling unhandled equines, off-site quarantine facilities, arena, covered round pen, office, hay barn and more.

Horse Plus Humane Society owns multiple pieces of equipment which is very important in sheltering horses.

Who Are The Horses in The Photos?

The horses seen in the beautiful photography on our website are all horses that we have rescued. Kisa Kavass Designs comes out to our shelter and captures beautiful photography of rescued horses, she does an amazing job - Thank you Kisa!
